Yes. However, we don’t recommend it because the weather can change dramatically during the night and you don’t want to wake up to a damaged awning. Not only that, but you don’t need shade at night.
Light rain is fine (if monitored and at the right angle for run off), but heavy rain is not, especially because heavy rain often brings with it high winds. Check our retractable awning page for more information.

A Pelmet Cover is an aluminium top cover which is used to protect and encase the top of the awning when retracted. Aesthetically the pelmet cover also achieves a modern clean finish to the awning itself when not in use….
